A few years ago. I was speaking with one of my cousins on my dad’s side of the family. We were talking about my recent divorce.

I told her,” You know, I love that song; When a Man Loves a Woman by Percy Sledge. The next time I fall in love, I want a woman whom I would sleep out in the rain for!” I asked her, “Your husband, would he sleep out in the rain for you?”

She replied, “Yes, of course, he would. I am sure he would sleep out in the rain for me; however, I would have to lock his sorry ass outside on a rainy night first, but yeah, I’m sure he would sleep out in the rain for me!” That cheap ass wouldn’t dare rent a hotel room; he’d better know what was good for him!
