The Simple Philosophy Healing Program- First Draft.

I’m posting this to receive feedback and to see if anyone else understands my points or if I need to clarify them better.

  • Decide you want to heal. Set your mind to do whatever you need to so you may recover.
  • Understand that the concept of mind refers to your intellectual well-being; as humans, we can learn all our lives. If we get to a point where we don’t want to learn anymore, we begin digressing, and before we know it, our emotions are affected. We often stop caring about our physical health; we start having physical pains. Mind, body, and soul/emotions/spirit are all connected, and when we are not balanced, we begin shutting down and may develop new diseases and die sooner than we should.
  • The concept of soul/emotions/spirit refers to your relationship with G-d, your family, friends, coworkers, and strangers you meet in grocery stores, etc. You may indeed have to stay away from people who cause you emotional stress or pain; if so, then work with the ones who don’t.
  • The concept of the body refers to eating food with proper nutrition to fuel your body with good energy that doesn’t make you sluggish. I eliminated sugar and fast food; recently, through Kaiser Permanente, I started meeting with a nutritionist. I recommend removing caffeinated drinks or too much coffee or black tea from your daily routine. I am 58 years old, and I avoid caffeine. When I was young, I drank too much caffeine, making me sluggish in the morning unless I drank too much coffee. My body, mind, and spirit became dependent on caffeine. A doctor told me that drinking more than one cup of coffee a day would weaken my bones and could make them easily break or shatter. I gave up all caffeinated drinks and had a severe headache for two days. After that, my mood elevated, and I soon discovered that I no longer needed caffeine. I will, on occasion, have a caffeinated drink. I last had an occasional caffeinated drink over three years ago because I feel much better without caffeine.
  • Consider among your mind, emotions/soul/spirit, and body which is the weakest and put ½ of the focus of your program on that and ¼ each on the other two until it becomes as strong as your most substantial of the three.
  • Then focus ½ of your effort on any of the three that are now weaker than the other two until you have a balance with all three.
  • Once you are balanced, you should feel much better! However, you should maintain this balance by improving all three simultaneously.
