As I awoke on Monday, July 8, 2024, the day before my flight to LAX, I did not feel 100%. By 10:30 a.m., I had a slight fever and chills. I drank plenty of water and relaxed.
I prayed to HaShem and said, “The only way I will willing not go to Israel is if there is some diagnosis that prevents me from getting on the airplane.”
In retrospect, I should have said something like, “If I roll a die 30 times, and it comes up four all 30 times then..!”
I tested positive for COVID-19, and the County asked me to quarantine for six days (until Friday) and wear a mask in public until the following Thursday.
Did you notice that, although the County wants me to wear a mask, I may attend Shabbat services this week? Baruch HaShem!
